* 20 Questions * - The twenty most frequently asked questions and answers provided below.

Do you book TF* shoots?
Only on special occassions.

Do you pay models?
I haven’t yet, but that is not to say that I wouldn't.  If I am looking for a certain (remarkable) look and can't get it locally, I probably would pay for it.  Otherwise, I will offer you trade work or send you my rates.

Do you expect models to pay you?
If you expect me to travel/drive to your location, shoot content or work that is only beneficial to your portfolio (i.e, “I don’t feel comfortable shooting in swimwear or lingerie"), develop your portfolio and give you all of the images from the shoot, then the answer is YES, I do expect models to pay me!

How many images will I receive?
I will only release images the are considered "Gold".  That could be 2 or 12.  It depends on how good our shoot goes.

When will I receive my images?
Usually within 5-7 days

Do you provide a CD of all the images after the shoot?
Absolutely not!  For quality control purposes, I never provide a CD of full images at any point.   Web-size images will be emailed to you.

Can model or a graphic designer edit/digitally alter the images received from you?
Not without my prior consent!

What should I bring to the shoot?
You must provide your own wardrobe.  Check out this suggestion list. Just bring your entire closet!

Do you travel?   Will you travel to shoot with me?
I travel frequently for business purposes.  If I am going to be in a certain region, I will schedule to shoot with models in that area.  I will not travel for the sole purpose of trade shooting, unless travel fees are paid for.

Do you have a studio?
I do not own a personal studio.  I do use studios in my region and will rent them if a studio shoot is requested and deposit received.

Can we do a hotel shoot like some of your other models?
Absolutely!  But, the cost of the room will have to be split equally between the photographer and all models involved.

Can I bring an escort, personal assistant, security guards, dog, etc.?
Yes, if you must. Escorts tend to prohibit absolute creativity in my humble opinion. In any case, the escort will not serve as an additional director, critic, or second shooter nor will they be photographed by photographer unless by photographer's choice. Please let me know in advance who it will be.  They must be a mature adult and be comfortable with the content that we are shooting. Escorts must be prepared to select wardrobe and move or hold equipment. Escorts may be asked to leave the shooting area at a moments notice.  So don't bring your lazy, opinionated, unattractive attention-seeking friend! :)

Do you work with models under 18 years?
Yes, but a model release must be signed by a parent and a legal guardian/mature adult over 21 must be present during the shoot, at all times.

Have your work been published?
Yes.  Status Ink Magazine, local and regional advertisements.

What can I expect during the shoot?
Expect to be physically uncomfortable and be ready to work.  If you’re new, the only glamorous part is the result.  It is not easy work.   I am patient enough to assist you.  If you are experienced, you will be directed, but expected to modify you poses and make adjustments where needed.  Shoots average about 2 hours in duration.

Do you provide MUA and Hair?
I will provide them for shoots paid by model or photographer.  I do not provide MUA and/or Hair for any trade (TF*) shoot.  You must be able to do it on your own or book a MUA.

Do you only shoot glamour? What other styles do you shoot?
Glamour is my passion and a vehicle for my work to get viewed.   But, I am able work within other genres.

Do you shoot male models?
My business model affords me the opportunity to shoot male models.  However, I do not do trade work with male models.

Will you shoot my wedding, engagement photos, family, cat, rock band, brother’s soccer game etc. for free?
Just because I might have shot your glamour model photos for trade (free), doesn’t mean that I am a free photographer.  Model work is a passion of mine.  Your kid brother’s soccer game, your engagement photos, or your wedding IS NOT!  That is work and there will be a charge for that service

Do you require all models to sign model release?
With the exclusion of models represented by agencies on test shoots, all models will sign a model release form that I provide.
